The Learning Experience - Mt. Holly

My son started to attend this learning center in January and I was honestly expecting him to just play with toys and other kids all day. My son is now two years old and I can honestly say that I've seen a tremendous amount of social skills development with him. There will be days where he'll count to 20 or sing his alphabet all the way to the end, but what really impressed me was when my two year old counted to ten in Spanish! The teachers here (especially Ms. Keisha, my son's teacher) really seem to care about the kids which makes it a little easier for my mama heart to drop him off. Everyday I walk in the building I'm greeted with a smile and it just feels great to know that this isn't just a "job" to the staff here. Highly recommend this learning center!

I’m so excited to write this review!!!! This is my 3 year old son’s first time in daycare and it’s only been a week and he is happy about going. Day 1 he cried and cried. He even tried to bust out the classroom because he’s only comfortable with being home with me. Day 2 he showed off again. Day 3 only light tears. Today, Day 4- he woke up and said, “mommy let’s go!” He didn’t cry at all! He was ready! This means a lot coming from my son who only wants to be with mommy and daddy all the time. Anika, Jih-Naya, Ms. Kim, Ms. Jamyra and Ms. Nikki have been very patient with my family and I, very understanding and communicates well. They all are very nice and smiling when greeting us! There was one issue that I brought to the director’s attention and it was addressed IMMEDIATELY. The staff remained professional and helped my son get better in a particular area that was a small concern this early in, which is amazing! The center is very nice, clean and catches the kids attention. The app keeps you updated all day long on everything your child does throughout the day with pictures as well. I couldn’t ask for better security and peace of mind in this area. I look forward to the amazing development my son will gain from this amazing curriculum as I can already see some improvements in certain areas already. I will be doing another review within a month or so for updates! So far everything is PERFECT!

My son is enrolled in their infant classroom with Miss Yolanda. My son has acid reflux and GERD that can cause him severe pain and excess spit up. I was very nervous to leave him in the care of a facility because I was worried he wouldn’t have the dedicated time or attention to address his needs. He needs extra care when feeding and afterwards, and takes medication. I have to say Miss Yolanda makes me feel like he is in good hands. She has been able to give me a detailed update every day about how he did. It is clear she deeply cares about his, and all the other children’s, well being. No matter what time I have picked him up he seems peaceful. I don’t know how she does it, but she really seems to give dedicated time to all the infants in there. I feel very confident he is safe and well taken care of.

What can I say? Honestly… a lot. But I’ll try to keep it under 1,000 words before the character limit kicks me out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Let’s start with one word: grateful. That’s all I can say every morning I walk into The Learning Experience. The warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the front door to the back classrooms, you can feel the care. Mr. Phillip, Ms. Anika, and Ms. Jih-Naya are the best administrative staff you didn’t know you needed. They greet every child by name (seriously, how do they remember everyone?), and end the day with a cheerful “See you tomorrow!” — even when it’s been one9 heck of a day. Behind the scenes, they’re making it happen: ensuring the proper student-teacher ratios, keeping curriculum and announcement boards up to date, sending real-time updates through the Bubbles and Friends app, and even jumping in to help classrooms when needed. Now to the teachers who hold it down like superheroes in cardigans. Lol Ms. Katrina – the best. From the moment we met, she reassured me with her signature morning mantra: “We’re going to have a good day. Right, Mama?” My daughter lights up when she sees her, and honestly, so do I. Her connection with each child is amazing — she makes drop-offs smoother and hearts a little lighter. I’d vote Ms. Katrina for Teacher of the Year, every year. Ms. Jordan – Thank you for being the other half of the dream team in the infant room. Anyone who works alongside Ms. Katrina and keeps up deserves recognition too.Your calm energy and loving spirit don’t go unnoticed. Now let’s talk preschool royalty: Ms. Nikki, Ms. Carmela, and Ms. Kim — I know I’m biased, but they’re the best. Ms. Nikki – I’m beginning to think my son loves you more than me. (It’s fine. I’m fine. 😅) Every morning starts with “Am I going to Ms. Nikki’s class?” and when we arrive, it’s “Is Ms. Nikki here yet?” You’re not just part of his day — you ARE his day. Thank you for making him feel so loved and excited to learn. Ms. Carmela & Ms. Kim – Thank you for always showing my son the same love, patience, and joy. He comes home talking about how he listened to everything you said — which is way more than I can say about listening to me at home. 😄 To the entire TLE team – thank you for wrapping my babies in love, education, and care every single day. You all have created an environment where my family feels safe, seen, and supported. We’ll forever be grateful — and probably still talking about you when the kids are in high school. 💙

My family and I are in love with this center! My daughter is always excited to go to school and is never quite ready to leave at pickup. The staff is very professional, prompt, friendly and supportive. We’re proud to finally be apart of the TLE Family!
