Place is pretty unprofessional. Started my son a week ago and today he was kicked out through text message, no call, no meeting, no mention of the resources Anisa had talked about. I was made aware of some novel behaviors my son was having. I asked for context to the situation. I asked for an antecedent, I was told "I don't know, he just bites unprovoked". In life nothing occurs without stimulus. But I do know factually, my son every morning told me he was scared. I'd ask why and all he would do is point towards the group of teachers. I also know for a fact they fabricated my son's meals. He IS a very picky eater, I mean the wrong color apple and he's grossed out. For some reason the grasshopper teachet claims he ate all his meals. I know for a fact he HATES cheeseburgers. Did my son have behaviors? Probably was there context provided? No. I find it hard to believe the 3 year old has the real problems. Hardly is any situation 100% at fault. The daycare failed here too but claims the 3 year old is too blame. I mean really who says "probably his last day" not a pro daycare in the slightest. They also close early the second Friday of every month. If you work you're a single parent. This ain't it, I'm telling you. My son is 3, somehow isn't seen coming from a mile away for wanting to harm people? (Which i don't believe he's a really happy guy, I also stress he's 3) either way, makes me feel there is really more than was reported to me. I don't know what we did? Pay $550 out of pocket then get kicked out a week later. I work with with children with autism. Im an RBT, sure I'm no genius but I have a masters degree in my son. Something ain't right!
Edit: "we offered referrals to local behavioral support services, which were not pursued" literally never once, I'm stopping reading the reply because it's false. After a week they did NOT give this much attention. Everytime I went to pick up my son no one ever spoke to me. All teachers just stared at me. The day my son got kicked out, once again that text and this reply is the only communicating they did. I promise I'm accountable. The daycare refuses to acknowledge they could do better

The Lighthouse Early Care and Education center is an amazing place to bring your little ones. The atmosphere is comforting and all the rooms are clean and kid friendly. I really enjoy that it is conveniently located in a multipurpose building where I can get groceries, take a class or even visit the doctors. I highly encourage anyone to bring their child to The Lighthouse.

Working as an early childhood teacher has been such an amazing experience! I love spending time with the kids and getting to watch them grow and learn every day—it’s so rewarding. My co-teachers are the best, and I’m so lucky to work with such a supportive and fun group of people. It really feels like a second family here.

The Lighthouse is the first job I’ve had since being a stay at home mom for almost four years with my two daughters. I applied to several different jobs before coincidentally meeting Jackie at a job fair I went to with my husband. She greeted me kindly & immediately gave me information about the open positions, and I went home after that & applied that same day. Within two days they called me for an interview, and now I’ve been working here for almost three months. As soon as I came in for my first interview, I could tell the atmosphere was very nice. They were extremely welcoming and kind, and I liked the thoughtful questions they asked me in the interview. This environment overall is amazing, and I genuinely enjoy my job. All of the ladies who work here are great and super kind, funny, and supportive. I appreciate them and the way they recognize & appreciate all of our efforts and the way we are all trying to constantly improve. We all look out for each other and although we’re all going through different things in our lives, Jackie and Anissa are always incredibly understanding & helpful. They’ve helped me and my family immensely in the short time I’ve been here, & they’re also helping me to learn more and grow within the childcare industry. I’ve learned so much from everyone here, and I am extremely grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with children, which is something I always wanted to do. I love being here every day with the kids. I am able to learn from them in different ways every day. Interacting with them is always interesting & fun, and I enjoy being able to teach them different things while still playing, singing, & having a good time. My four year old daughter is here every day too, and she loves it so much! She has learned so much & she loves playing with all the other children. She always talks about the co-teachers and all of her friends, and how she wants to be here every day. Overall, it is extremely rewarding to be working here with all of the children & see them all learn and grow, and make new friends. I am now better as a parent due to my job experience at The Lighthouse, and I know it will benefit me & my family greatly. :)

We moved from San Diego to Colorado earlier this year. I was stressed trying to find a reputable daycare. Everyone I contacted has 18 month + waiting lists or were astronomically expensive (more than our mortgage). I was happy to finally find the Lighthouse. They were able to accept both of my boys right away and were affordable. Jackie has been monumental in making daycare available. Both my kids have thrived in their loving, inspiring, and educational atmosphere. Having been in two daycares before the lighthouse, I can say this one has been my favorite.
