There was some really amazing teachers here that my son loved. A lot of good memories. I didn't love how they would just switch your child's class with out telling you. There was a couple teachers that I didn't love how there time was with the children and Lindsay at the front desk is a nightmare to deal with. If it wasn't for the front desk problems would have been 4 starts.

When I first started searching for a daycare for my unborn son over 9 years ago, it was exhausting and so difficult. To be honest I would've much preferred to stay home but at the time it wasn't a choice for us. The very first daycare we interviewed was The Nurturing Place. We visited and/or called several after that to check out all our options. But my mind kept going back to Nurturing Place. The teacher in the nursery, Ms. Lois, was absolutely the sweetest one that we had talked to in all those interviews (and unfortunately we had our fair share of teachers at other places that were NOT kind to us). Nurturing Place didn't have the most state of the art equipment available but my kids don't need that anyway. The ONLY thing that mattered to me is that my child would be loved and well cared for. I believe we absolutely found that at Nurturing Place for both my son and for my daughter who later attended. We had our share of kinks to work through (which is to be expected - no situation is perfect even if you're a stay-home parent!) and my kids aren't perfect angels, but the owner, office staff, and many teachers became family to us over the years. It broke my heart when my kiddos aged out and we had to move on, and my kids still talk about their time there and I've stayed in touch with the staff and still consider them friends! The best part about sending my kiddos to a facility like this vs an in-home daycare is if the teachers were sick or needed an extra hand, someone from the office could come running to help. I didn't have to find alternate care or stay home if a teacher was sick - that was so appreciated! And they always tried to stay open for snow days.
I see some negative reviews on here and my advice is this - just be a reasonable parent or caregiver. If your child has serious behavioral issues that need more 1:1 care, it may be so difficult but you need to find specialized care for your child. The class sizes aren't large but there are other kids in the class that need the teachers' attention too! They can't work miracles when 1:1 care is needed/deserved at all times. In the 8 years that I had kids there I witnessed them work through their fair share of challenging situations so I know they do everything in their power to do right by the families and kiddos.
As someone who isn't very trusting of people in general but especially not with the care of my kids, I feel very comfortable giving The Nurturing Place 5 stars!

This daycare was amazing in the beginning. However, as the months went by my sons behavior drastically changed to the point to where he was learning and picking up choking behavior. He was switched classes without my knowledge to a brand new classroom & teacher whom I had never met and were very young. The teacher who’s class my son was moved to did not show any excitement when kiddos entered the classroom at the beginning of the day nor did he ever seem to interact with the kids. He more so just stood there looking around. My son is on the hyper end of the spectrum and received three strikes within five days and I truly believe it is because they did not have the patience to handle him and do not want to deal with him. He was punished for learned behavior from the children who attend this daycare and we are very disappointed from the daycare itself. I would not ever enroll my child in this daycare.

This is the 4th daycare that my daughter has attended and I wish I had found this place first. She started there in November and it’s now May. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this place and everyone who works there. My daughter has learned so much and I really appreciate all the extra things they do for the kids. I highly recommend this daycare
