The Oaks Children's Academy, North Charleston

Sent both of my children here, from ages 1 and 3 months until we moved at ages 4 and 2. The Oaks is a second family, ALL staff through ALL of the different age classes loved my boys like they belonged to them. Both kids gained so much knowledge and social skills, not to mention friends, during our time here. Moving away was THE ONLY reason we left, TOCA will never be able to be replaced. Don’t think twice about enrolling your children, best decision you’ll ever make!

We placed our daughter at The Oaks when she was just 8 weeks old. We then transitioned to another daycare at six months due to the ease of the location only. however after just one year we were fortunate to be back at the Oaks and are making the commute regardless. She is happy, enjoys going to school now, and even though I have never been inside bc of Covid, I receive plenty of pictures throughout the day and never have to worry about how she's being treated or if the teachers are engaged. My only suggestion would be to stay open later.

I have had such a positive experience here. The décor inside is charming; very warm and inviting. Cobblestone hallway, warm lantern lighting, soft mood music, etc. The center is very clean. They take time to wipe runny noses, they make sure diapers are changed often (my son is in the nursery). They have an app where they send you updates on your child all day, so you know when he naps, snacks, takes a bottle, has a diaper changed, etc. The staff are all so sweet and professional, and the director is very professional and accommodating. I have not had one single issue here. I can go to work and not have to worry about my son's well-being with him here. I would highly recommend anyone to go take a tour.

My son has been going here for about 5 months now. AMAZING SCHOOL!! I never have to worry about him and the directors of the school always make it a point to update you on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this school !!! And not to mention I get pictures of my little cutie alll day long through their app and updates on snacks etc!!! LOVE

We are in love with this place. The teachers go above and beyond, the staff is communicative and involved, and my kid is thriving. We have been here for 4 years and are excited to now have little brother join. Seriously, look no further for a daycare!
