We love tiny town! Due to a work schedule shift, we briefly went with another provider, but when we told our daughter she’d be returning to tiny town, she was over the moon! She loves her teachers, the staff are always polite and understanding, and I know my kiddo is in good hands everyday.

The opening of Tiny Town, Was a Blessing for me and most importantly My 1 yr. old son. As a mother, I have always swore up and down " my kids will never go to daycare" Not only because I have a significant issue with trust and letting " outsiders" into my life in such an intimate way but I have heard many, too many horror stories about daycare centers, home based childcare and how easy it can be for someone to portray themselves in a light that is appealing to others. I have always worried and/or felt that sadly bad, scary things happen in these settings to children all over the world and I was determined since having my oldest daughter, 8 yrs. ago that I would never leave my children with anyone I did not know, so pretty much family only. I had such a fear of something bad would happen to my baby if I left him for a few mins. never mind the entire work day with someone I picked out of a phone book. Needless to say, I carried alot of fear behind the decision to enroll Elijah in daycare to begin with and after a year of searching and applying for 2 yr wait list for the 2 childcare facilities that would even accept him due to his age. I found myself in a hopeless, sad and very lonely place. Then one day, I was required to come into fedcap to meet with my case worker because my case was in non compliance status simply because I couldnt find Infant care for my son and I was not allowed to take him to the appointments with me which forced me to miss majority of my scheduled hours. I at one point lost mine and Elijah's benefits due to unexcused absences. The hardest most frustrating part was realizing that, if you live in L/A and are on Welfare, a single mother, with an infant and lack the funds to pay the childcare yourself(because many places don't accept assistance of any kind from the state) then you are pretty much out to sea w/o a paddle. Then after calling once again the same list of childcare providers in the area, and sadly getting the same response, I actually had to make an appointment to just get put on a 2 yr. waiting list! Crazy.....right?! Anyways, on my third phone number dialed, I reached the owner of Tiny Town! My son was immediately enrolled and accepted at the open house and began the following week. The staff are all very friendly, loving, trustworthy people who are obviously very compassionate for what they do and the support that their establishment provides to those in need. This center is very much family oriented, As soon as you walk in the door you can tell there is a certain level of immediate safety and comfort. I can't say enough, how much I value the work these ladies have and are doing for our community. Now when I arrive to pick Elijah up for the day, he gets upset, throws himself down on the floor because he wants to stay with all his friends, that badly. I would and do Recommend Tiny Town to any and all parents who are looking for reliable, trustworthy, compassionate persons to care for their child/children.
