Tyger River Children's Center

I do not even know where to begin… TRCC has been great to our family and still is! My kids have been going for a couple years now and will continue to go until they grow out of it. I cannot say enough good things about the staff & TRCC. Thank you for watching over our children 🙏🏼

My nine year daughter has been at TRCC for four years and her brother two years. The staff is wonderful and fun. The children are broken up by grades in separate classrooms and have their homework completed when I pick them up in the evenings. The after school snacks are just enough to carry them through until dinner. TRCC is open on teachers’ workdays whereas other after school programs are not. TRCC also offers a summer program. The summer program includes activities that will keep your child occupied and engaged all day long. I highly recommend TRCC’s after school and summer programs.

I cannot say enough good things about TRCC. This place has been such a blessing to our family! Our 3 sons went here for summer camp and now go after school. My 3rd grader says he feels like he's coming "home" when he gets there. They have NEVER had a bad day at camp / after school! They rave about how delicious the food is, and had the best summer EVER with all the field trips and activities. They are part time and beg me every week to go full time! I never worry about them here, which is saying a lot bc this is the first facility they've ever attended. Mrs. Kim is always a step ahead of everything and is so good at what she does. We appreciate all of the hard work and thought that goes into making sure the kids have a fun time while also learning about the Lord!

My son has been going to summer camp and after-school at TRCC for almost six years now and my younger daughter has been there for two summer camps and now in her first year of after-school. They absolutely love it!!! The director and all of the staff are great and always keep parents up-to-date on field trips and other things that are going on. During the summer, they really try to plan lots of fun activities for the kids multiple days of the week and keep them busy. At after-school they have time for play and time for getting homework done so that we don't have to work on it when we get home. There have been multiple times when I have arrived to pick up my kids and they don't want to leave (which says a lot)! I have all the confidence and trust that they will take care of my kids and keep them safe when I leave them there. We love TRCC!!!!

So thankful for TRCC! I am a single mom of two kids and having quality dependable childcare for after school and on days school is closed/canceled is so important. It is obvious that all the teachers care very much for the children and it's not just a paycheck. I would definitely recommend TRCC to any parent!
