We love Umiak Childcare! Ms Arrate is FANTASTIC! She provides a safe and nurturing environment for kids to learn and grow, teaches them manners and respect, is very open and honest with communication, and loves the kids in her care as if they were her own. Our oldest feels right at home with her and I know our newborn will be well taken care of when he starts soon. I cannot recommend Umiak childcare enough!

Even the youngest children are exposed to age-appropriate activities that help with development—whether it’s music, colors, languages( Arrate speaks multiple languages), or basic routines. You can tell she’s deeply invested in each child’s growth, and that kind of attention is rare. I can’t recommend her enough!
