Under the Magic Pine Tree

Our son attended Under the Magic Pine Tree from April 2023 until today, and it has been a truly wonderful experience. From the beginning, we felt welcomed into a nurturing, imaginative and well-organized environment where our child was genuinely cared for and encouraged to grow. The mix of outdoor exploration, play-based learning, and social-emotional support helped our son thrive in every way. The outdoor setting is magical, and the classroom space is always clean, thoughtfully arranged, and inviting. We also really appreciated the school’s communication and check-in system. The app-based platform made daily updates, photos, and messages super easy to access and gave us great peace of mind throughout the day. We are so grateful for the care and community we found at Under the Magic Pine Tree. It’s a very special place, and we recommend it without hesitation to any family seeking a safe, creative and loving preschool or PreK program in Reno.

The absolute best place for kids. We have tried several schools for our toddlers and nothing compares to Under the Magic Pine Tree. The teachers are all absolutely fantastic and they genuinely love the kids. I feel so confident each day that my kids are in an environment where they are loved and well cared for. The school does such amazing, fun activities with the kids. My 2 year old got to make butter and use various things to help a butterfly break out of its "cocoon" (made of papier mache). My 4 year old has gotten to collect items from the garden to paint with, build huge rockets with his classmates with mixed media, build and erupt volcanoes. No other school does this level of interactive activities. Plus my children are learning Spanish.

We love UTMPT! Our child has been attending from over a year and we have been some impressed by how all the staff know him and what he needs. They have great activities and programming, as well as plenty of free time for kids to be kids.

Due to a recent daycare closure we had to look for a new location and came across Under the Magic Pine Tree. While as a mom I was scared to take my son to a new place, the staff at under the magic pine tree made the transition super smooth! I get daily updates and pictures. My son loves the staff, and has nothing but good things to say on our way home after a day at daycare. We appreciate the staff and everything they do for our little ones.

We love this place for our daughter. She has nothing but great things to say about her teachers. The staff is always very welcoming and they communicate well throughout the day on the app. I love getting photos and updates of the activities she does each day.
