Via Nova Children's School

We started sending our toddler to Via Nova when he turned 2. Though he was the youngest in the class, he has been well-supported by the teachers and he has enjoyed being around the other kids in class. The teachers and administrators bring a lot of experience, professionalism, and kindness to the classrooms. From the very beginning it was clear that both teachers and admins care a lot about the kids and that they put a lot of time and effort into making Via Nova a safe, fun and engaging space.

Sending our son to Via Nova is has been the absolute BEST! We love the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning, respect for child, and focus on following the child's interests. The curriculum is emergent and follows the children's joy. The teachers and directors truly prioritize the care and connection with each child, and our son loves going to school and is thriving in the wonderful care of Via Nova teachers and directors. Highly recommend!!

Our son, Eliot (3), has been at Via Nova for six months now, and he is loving it. All the teachers are warm and caring - they see and adore him for who he is; they give him comfort when he needs it and encourage him to stretch and grow. As a result, his social, interpersonal, and language skills are exploding. We love that the program is bilingual; we're a monolingual household, and Eliot's Spanish is an inspiration to us all! We've sent both of our children to Via Nova and had the most wonderful experience. The staff and teachers are caring and dedicated, the spaces are homey and appropriate for each age group, and the community is outstanding. The location is also very convenient - across the street from BART and just two blocks from Malcolm X Elementary.

Via Nova is a wonderful school! The directors and teachers are so warm and caring, and it's been a great environment for both our kids. Highly recommend.
