I can't say enough great things about Wallingford KinderCare! I love knowing that my child is in a loving and safe environment. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making every child feel valued and cared for. I love that I am always welcomed by Sabrina or Addie when I come in. My children also love this part of their days. They make them feel so special. Both of my children have learned so much but has also built wonderful relationships with both the teachers. The activities are engaging, educational, and fun every day, my little one comes home excited to share what they did! I also appreciate the open communication from the staff, who always keep me updated on my child’s progress and daily experiences. If you're looking for a daycare that truly puts children first, fosters a nurturing atmosphere, and encourages learning through play, I highly recommend Wallingford. It is a home away from home for my children.

Our kid - now three has been with KinderCare since 6 months and has loved her time there. They have become a second home for her. We have had some great teachers over the year and they shown love to her as if their own. Yes, staff turnover has been high at times but that seems to be a wider industry issue, it’s a tough job. We enjoy getting the photos and updated, and of late our LO has loved the dance class. The seasonal little festivals have been a good way to meet the other kiddos and parents. We have had no issues and management has always been helpful. Appreciate the application process when many other schools were vague and we waited over a year. Thanks every one there

I told the location director not to move my son to a different class from his everyday class, because I always find my son crying when I pick him up from that class. But she moved him anyways and I found him laying (sleeping) on the bare wooden floor no blanket nothing. And their excuse was they didn’t want to bother his nap, you could have at least put a blanket over him. And when he woke up, he woke up with bruise on his face from sleeping uncomfortably on the bare wooden floor! They just didn’t care! Never taking my son to this daycare ever again!

I can't say enough good things about this daycare. I’m only sending my child here for summer break and didn't have high expectations, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. My child struggles in larger classrooms (a lesson learned from trying multiple types of daycares, and comments from professionals), and I was a bit worried. However, the teachers and staff have been exceptionally wonderful, kind, and understanding and so far my kid is doing well. Despite being one of the largest facilities with hundreds of students, the director, staff, and many of the teachers know all the kids' names. They always greet everyone with smiles and a warm welcome. For my child's birthday in July, they made the day special with birthday wishes and celebrations, even though we didn’t do anything on the actual day. It was touching to see how much they cared, and they continued to make him feel special when we picked him up. During summer, they offer water play once a week and ensure the kids go outside at least once a day. They have a large covered outdoor space, and even the uncovered play area in the parking lot has some shade from the building and nearby trees, providing nice options for outdoor activities. The daycare occasionally (not sure if it is for summer only or so) features fun activities like visits from Spidey and Tangled costume characters, a fun play bus, and a musical instructor. I appreciate the daily updates from the teachers, and while they don’t post a lot online, I prefer they spend more time caring for my child than on their iPads. I feel safe and worry-free sending my child here and I highly recommend this place :)

Kindercare Wallingford has been nothing short of wonderful. Our daughter has been attending since she was 4.5mos and she is now turning 3. Her teachers have been wonderful and caring, the admin team has been super validating and responsive with any concern I have. Even during a period when there was high staff turnover Kindercare leadership responded with additional staff and management on site to evaluate cause of turnover and correct issues with employee satisfaction. My daughter has made really close friends and even though the center is big they have made it still feel like there is a sense of community. I also cannot say enough positive things about the Learning Adventures programs (cooking, phonics and music) highly recommend!
