Westville Community Nursery School

WCNS has been a dream preschool for my children! I've sent both of my children through the program, which has one mixed-age classroom prioritizing play-based learning. The kids love being both the younger learner as well as the older guide across the years, fostering growth and maturity among the classroom. They spend a good amount of time outdoors, explore the community with field trips and local events, read many books, put on plays, get messy with creative arts activities, etc. The staff are AMAZING at helping both kids and parents navigate morning drop-offs with separation anxieties, as well as guiding them through age-appropriate social-emotional learning points. Thank you WCNS for helping nurture my children into awesome little humans!

WCNS has been an amazing place for our child and for our entire family. The exceptionally talented and dedicated staff know how to help kids come into their own while also learning to work in community. The WCNS teachers are so kind, wise, and entirely dedicated to their work. Kids can be kids here in the best way possible, supported and guided with great care. I recently compared notes with a parent whose children attended a while ago -- she is still gushing about the school, as I will be for years to come!

WCNS is the best preschool program I have had the privilege of sending 2 children to. It's a dream school in the heart of Westville that accepts School Readiness and Care 4 Kids funding, making it more affordable for families. This beloved community institution is a safe, nurturing, and child based learning environment, and I cannot recommend it enough.

I love the staff. How caring and nurturing they are. It’s like a family. My son enjoys going and he has learned so much since he joined in May. I also love the multicultural aspect. Having other families and their children speaking other languages and sharing their culture, it’s great. I want to learn and respect other cultures. WCNS is a hidden gem!
