Whimsy and Wonder Preschool

Whimsy and Wonder Preschool has been such a wonderful first school for my daughter. The intention behind every material, experience and routine is incredibly thoughtful to curate a safe, fun, and gorgeous learning environment for all kids. Ms. Heidi also puts a lot of care and attention into healthy and delicious breakfast, snack and lunch. My daughter always raves about the food:) Finally, Ms. Heidi and the other teachers help to foster excellent relationships between kids, teachers and families. My daughter has made some lifelong friends at Whimsy and Wonder!! We are thrilled to be sending our youngest daughter there next year. I highly recommend this preschool!

The Whimsy and Wonder preschool Is fantastic! Heidi is a wonderful educator as well as Director. Her program is child centered and incorporates nature as well as fun and educational activities that foster curiosity and imagination. I can highly recommend Heidi and team of educators. She has excellent communication skills and is supportive of her staff and families. When enrolling your child at the her preschool, you will feel worry free and comforted as your child is in a welcoming and loving environment.

Heidi operates a stellar preschool, and has wonderful staff. She is dedicated to her profession of many decades, and her passion and love for this work shows. She is on top of every detail to give your child the best possible start in early childcare and “education,” as well as to keep her staff happy. Her facility is always in good repair. She provides a wide variety of learning toys, arts and crafts and outside time in the wonderful playground, rain or shine. Heidi has a consistent and gentle approach and is very professional. She and her staff will provide your child a safe environment with loving care and guidance to complement your parenting. You can rest assured that your child is in capable, loving hands. Your child will be given freedom to explore in alignment with their developmental stage, and redirected respectfully and with care. They will also be involved in learning healthy skills for conflict resolution, bodily autonomy and consent/boundaries. Heidi’s meals are home cooked and top notch. You might be surprised by what your toddler is willing to joyfully taste and eat. I learned a lot from Heidi by observing how she interacted with my child and other children when my preschooler was in her care. She helped me gain confidence in parenting. I highly recommend her center with no hesitation. She’s the best of the best, hands down.

We’ve had an incredible experience with Whimsy and Wonder as our son’s first school. Ms. Heidi and her staff create a warm and loving environment for the children and are supportive of us as parents as well! It’s clear that every activity and material provided is thoughtfully curated, ensuring that the kids are engaged and in a safe, beautiful environment. Our son has grown in so many ways in this play-based environment, learning new skills, and making new friends. The experiences here have been invaluable, allowing him to explore and discover in a nurturing setting. The food provided deserves a special mention. The menu is healthy and varied, and according to the pictures of our child eating—delicious! Overall, Whimsy and Wonder Preschool is truly a gem. We couldn't be happier with the care our son has received here.

I say this in complete confidence due to my knowledge of it's owner/director, Ms. Heidi. I began working in early childhood education back in the early 2000's. Heidi was already managing schools back then and made an impression with me regarding her warmth and care, as well as with her competence in handling the complex challenges of operating a quality childcare program. To this point, when I began to plan and build out my own school program, Golden Apples Preschool, the first person I turned to for counsel was Heidi. I truly believe in her and the work she does.
