We absolutely love yellow brick road. We changed our daughter over to them from another daycare and it has been amazing. The teaches truly care for your children, it is so reassuring dropping your kid off with people who love them too! The people at pick up are the same people who have been with your child so they can actually tell you how your child did that day, unlike experiences at other daycares when the people at pick up hadn't been there so could give no information. They have a really amazing outside play area, and the area inside is so much bigger than it looks on the outside. The app is great for updates and the building is secure. It is really reasonably priced as well!!

My children have had a fantastic first few weeks. I love the app that they send updates on and the fact that it lets you unlock the front door from your phone. Even grandma can use it! We have felt so welcomed and love all the pictures and follow up from the whole team. The daily activities are so fun, and we have been able to replicate some at home, too. I can already see how happy they are to go every morning. As a mom, there is nothing more comforting :)

My niece and nephew have been attending this childcare center for the past six months, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. My sister granted me access to their daily reports, and the updates are phenomenal. They are detailed, consistent, and so thoughtful. As a long-distance aunt, it means so much to feel connected and involved in their day-to-day lives, even from afar. When I return to the area and have the chance to pick them up from daycare, the staff are always warm, friendly, and attentive. It’s clear they’ve built strong, positive relationships with the kids, and I’m so grateful they’re in such good hands!

I'm seeing reviews about safety concerns and lack of professionalism. That is not the case since the only way to access the building is with a personal code or to ring the doorbell and be escorted in. In addition, if your picking up your grandkid, niece, nephew, cousin etc, you need to be on a list authorized by the child's legal guardians to pick them up and must show a legal form of ID before being taken to their classroom. If you're not on the list, you will get rejected. Safety is not a concern here and I trust the staff to have my kids' best interest at heart.

My son attended YBR for only two days, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. What we were promised during the orientation did not match the reality of the care provided.
On his first day, we were told he would be welcomed by a teacher who would be expecting him and help ease his transition. Instead, the staff didn’t know he was coming or even know his name. This immediately left us unsettled, especially as our son was visibly distressed and crying when I left.
Within the first hour, both my husband and I attempted to call and email the center to check on him. We received no response for over 90 minutes. Concerned, we asked his grandmother to pick him up early. When she arrived, no staff was available to assist her. She had to step over sleeping children to locate him on her own — and no one verified her identity before releasing him. This was a serious safety concern.
The following day, we brought him in again but decided within 30 minutes that this was not a safe or organized environment for our child. We gave notice immediately. Once again, no one responded for two days. When I eventually spoke with the administrator, she dismissed my concerns and told me I was “making things up.” That level of unprofessionalism was shocking.
Despite our very brief and distressing experience — less than eight total hours of care — we were sent a message stating we owed four weeks of tuition. It then took several more days just to receive an itemized bill.
We do not believe it is reasonable to be charged for four weeks of care that was never provided, especially given the poor communication, lack of organization, and serious safety oversights. Our experience with YBR was stressful and deeply disappointing. Based on what we experienced, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to other families.
