Beautiful facility, but the building was built when the area still had Golds Gym, two Golds Express, and LA Fitness. Now, those places all closed and the YMCA is too busy for a lifter to get a workout in. It's nearly impossible to use the facility during Jan/Feb when resolution culture, and then the place is overrun in June/July when college is out of session. When a family membership plus swim lessons (2 hrs/month for a 2-yr old) costs almost $150/month, it's absurd to justify a membership that can't be used for a third of the year because the facility is too small.

Very nice facility, centrally located and made with options for the whole family! It has so much to offer from a swimming pool, indoor track basketball, computer room, courts, workout machines and area and so much more. There is plenty of parking outside and a helpful front desk staff.

I was a volunteer coach for the boys first grade basketball team. I was given a choice to pick my practice by the sports director. The parent that knew director chose the time for MY practice which was already a red flag. In addition, I was invited to the coaches which discusses rules and regulations and other important matters. The program is very unorganized my team changed liked 3 times. I had verbal altercation with another coach because a kid stole the ball from a girl. The girl was not supposed to be on the team she was taller than the other kids and older. If the roles were switched people would’ve made a big deal about it!! Another red flag!! The coach snatch the ball aggressively away from the kid after he stole the ball from the girl. I proceeded to tell him he was wrong because it’s recreational who cares there wasn’t even a referee so why does it matter !! The coach walked over to sport director which was probably his buddy and Told the director I told the girl F YOU which is a lie. I am military veteran it’s not even in my character to act in a such matter. That following Monday I get cops banging on my door saying that I am banned from YMCA. Over a verbal altercation!! My kids are home school this facility fulfilled there needs with swim lessons and and basketball and helping them socialize!! They took my family membership away before even getting my side of the story. They treated me over the phone and talking to me like a criminal while my kids were in the car!!! I had parents vouch for me saying that is not true !! The membership was in my wife name which they didn’t consult with her after taking the family membership away!!!’ This place supposed to be Christian based and they never gave me a chance even after I offered to sit down and talk!! The senior director sounded racist after my wife’s explained that how could her black husband not show up to their kids basketball game and he said I don’t care!! My wife is white she felt uncomfortable after some remarks he said about me

Nice new YMCA but we were expecting more. Very nice aquatic center but no benches and few areas to hang towels and swimming items. The weight room was nice with new equipment, yet the free weight room was fairly small. Very optimistic going into this YMCA for a visit and really let down. Don't visit during the summer as kids camps posses the locker rooms several times a day for 15 minutes to allow campers to change. I get the purpose of this BUT very poor planning into this newer YMCA as who did not see the potential conflict with locker rooms. That's poor administration along with poor board oversight given that summer camps are one of the most important programs.

Wonderfully updated facilities with top notch equipment. The new building is clean, well lit, and easy to navigate. It’s in a great location with plenty of parking available compared to the previous building. The staff there are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I especially like the fact that they don’t put up with these younger individuals that hog the machines while they’re just sitting there using their phones. Overall it’s very family friendly and the members are really considerate. I’m excited to attend some classes that they have available.
