I have been at this gym for a total of 6 months and though they are quite expensive the facility is also quite nice. You definitely feel like you are in a premium gym and for that I don’t mind paying the extra bread. Great staff and facility. Love Pueblo as well even though I don’t live here : )

UPDATE:
I was told by more than one employee that I would receive a refund which never happened, I am not surprised.
I still had a birthday party there due to limited event venues in Pueblo. The Y is charging $150 per hour for the party room yet they cannot even manage to supply enough chairs for guests at multiple parties at the same time.
The party staff literally had to go to the event ending in the next room and ask them if they were done using their chairs so they can bring them to our party!
PLEASE NOTE!!!! The Y is a multi-million dollar tax exempt organization that is TAKING ADVANTAGE of HARD WORKING FAMILIES in Pueblo!
They use scholarships as a way to get tax free funding but if you try to get your kid in to a sport with a scholarship it is a joke.
They are scamming the public by raising thousands of dollars in donations but only giving one scholarship per sport per season!
Please stop spending your $80 (yeah right more like $100+) fee every month and take your family to do something worthwhile for your hard earned money!
There are so many members of the community who are not getting the benefits from the Y which it is intended for.
1st POST:
I'm sorry, I was trying to give the Y the benefit of the doubt since Pueblo is so limited on choices of recreational activities, but after going there for 4 years it seems unless you are the privileged tall, white, or wealthy you do not belong in their beautiful facility. If you are a dark skinned family you will be treated differently. I have yet to see an employee of color working there and the tall blonde manager is the worst. I suggest she and the other employees re-read their mission statement and what the vision of the Y is. It is intended to offer opportunities to everyone in the community. This place doesn't look or feel like the Pueblo I'm familiar with.
My son who has special needs was treated unfairly by one of the soccer coaches. All I asked for was if my son can be changed to a different team because he is terrified of the coach and I don't want this experience to ruin sports for him in the future. I was told it was impossible and every team was full. I was offered a refund and told I could wait until next season. That's not the point! My son is missing out on opportunities other kids his age are experiencing. I don't want to sound racist or anything but I feel if I was a different color or a man I probably wouldn't have been treated this way. I was asked by the manager how long we have been going there? I don't see why that matters. If you don't fit their image your are not welcome there but Dirk is cool!
Lastly, when I spoke to Colleen and told her how the coach started treating my son better once my dad arrived. Her excuse was "are you sure he doesn't know him? Every one knows everyone in Pueblo!"😞 So in other words if you know the coach your kid will get to play more!

This place is horrible in December. I paid $125 to start a membership which she said I was able to go through and I paid my dues then January 2 came and I was able to go in and take my kids swimming. Then towards the end of the month, I went to take my daughter swimming and they told me that my membership was not active. I said how could that be? I said I’ve already paid in two months and we were able to come in January. He informed me About some bogus policy, he didn’t even spell it right in the email. He called it police and that the lady at the front desk didn’t charge me right so I’m paying $210 within two months as a single mother and they want me to pay another $113 by February so within three months I have paid $323.00 dollars for a membership as a single mother with two kids I’m not sure this makes sense and that was for December January and February they wouldn’t explain to me why they’re charging me so much. I really feel like they’re trying to weed out color families or Hispanic families or lower class families so I advise that people don’t go to this establishment unless you. our higher class, but also just understand you will not be getting hot water because the hot water was broken. People will be staring at your children in the pool because it’s older peoples time when it’s open swim you have to pick and choose times that you can go to this gym because they don’t have open swim. I’d like to get a refund but I’m going to have to go to the news about this and I’m tired of it.

I really like the Y. Swimming is my activity; however, I have a TERRIBLE time interpreting the monthly schedule for "summer hours". I have printed off the June schedule but can not make "heads or tails" of it. All I need is the hours when the lap lanes are open for lap swimming. Because of the haphazard spacing on the schedule, I cannot tell what times match up to what activity. Is there any way I can get a schedule of JUST WHEN THE LAP LANES ARE OPEN and nothing else? I hope someone in the administration can read this and pass it on to whomever types up the schedule. Thank you for your assistance.
