Yoli's Day Care

Our son started at this in-home daycare when he was just 9 months old, and now at 2 years old, we can truly say it’s been such a special part of his early years. We absolutely loved it! We appreciated how Ms. Yoli and her team created a warm, loving environment while also focusing on fun and learning. There were always creative, engaging activities that helped him grow and thrive. They didn’t just care for him—they nurtured him and played a big role in his positive development. We moved away from the area but miss them so much and would wholeheartedly recommend Yoli’s to any family looking for a safe, joyful, and enriching place for their little one.

Our children attended Yoli's In-Home for four years. Yoli, Marco, and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They are caring, thoughtful, and love all the children as their own. They provide incredibly nutritious meals every day that they make from scratch. In fact, I knew that every day our children would eat a wide range of fruit and vegetables. In fact, the reason that our daughter and son love beans, avocados, quinoa, and whole grains is due in large part to the extra care that Yoli and Marco took to feed them so well. Each day Yoli and Marco provide a routine that is full of age-appropriate activities, songs, walks, play, outdoor time, and quiet time. There was never a day that my kids weren't delighted to see both Yoli and Marco. And I knew that they were well cared for each and everyday. During Covid, Yoli has taken the most care with ensure that the children are safe and that they are protected. During the last year, are children have been the safest because of Yoli and Marco's absolute attention to hand washing, masking wearing, and the other safety protocols they have put in place. We absolutely love Marco and Yoli and they are a part of our family. We could not have found a better daycare for our children.

"Babies love Yoli." A friend of ours recommended Yoli's Daycare and said this to us when we asked how they liked the place where they sent their son. We met with Yoli soon after and decided to enroll our daughter when she was about 6 months old. Now, several years later, we could not imagine having sent her anywhere else. Yoli, Marco, Alexia, Mona, and the rest of the wonderful team there are as close to family members for our daughter as her actual family. The team there are incredibly kind, generous, and caring towards every child in their charge. Whether she was in the younger classroom or the older group, it was evident that our daughter was not only happy to there, but she was also engaged and learning each day. I remember the first day that she surprised us by counting to 10 in Spanish at the dinner table - the bilingual atmosphere at Yoli's has been such a boon for her development. The bottom line here: Yoli's Daycare is a wonderful and trustworthy place to send your child. Each child is loved and cared for there, and the entire team works tirelessly to not only entertain but to engage and educate the children in their care. Our daughter has never once been sad to go to Ms. Yoli's and Mr. Marco's, and it will be a bittersweet moment when she is old enough and it is time to move on to school.

My son attended Yoli's In-Home DayCare for 3 years (starting at 6 months old), and we had a wonderful experience. All the staff are caring, thoughtful, and attentive to the kids. They supported us through many stages, from bottle weaning to potty training. I appreciated their professionalism and the family atmosphere they created. They genuinely make every child feel special and cared for. They also ensure healthy meals, including quinoa, fresh fruit, and beans. Daily art, holiday and birthday celebrations, and summer water days were some of my son's favorites. My son often came home speaking and singing in Spanish, and wanting to play guitar. We are so grateful for the time spent there and recommend Yoli's to anyone looking for a positive, kind, and caring environment. Additionally, the public park next door is a bonus, allowing us to meet and connect with other daycare parents.

Our two daughters (3 yo and 15 mo) have both attended Ms. Yoli's daycare since they were infants starting around 14 weeks old and we couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else, it has been the best childcare experience we could have hoped for. We originally found Ms. Yoli through a recommendation on Nextdoor and interviewed in 2021 when many parents were keeping their kids home still after the pandemic, so got lucky she had space for our oldest daughter on relatively short notice. We immediately felt comfortable in speaking with her, loved the Spanish language integration, focus on education and activities, and that there is a more intimate, in-home setting. The ratio of staff to children is amazing, they are attentive, loving and patient. They provide home-cooked nutritious meals every day, and genuinely treat our children like their own. Yoli, Marco, Alexia, Ramona and the whole team honestly feel like an extension of our family. Our girls LOVE going to 'school' everyday and have made great friends (and we have made good parent friends too), as they learn to interact and engage with different ages. If you are looking for a daycare option that offers a more personal and home-like atmosphere for your child, you won't find a better place in Alexandria than Ms. Yoli and Mr. Marco's.
