Zion's Family Child Care

As a first-time parent, the thought of leaving our new four-month-old to someone else’s care was scary and we didn’t know what to expect. The morning of our daughter’s first day at Zion’s, we ran into another parent on the way out from dropping his kid off. He eagerly told us about how great Zion and her daycare is, and how lucky he felt to have found them. Though we’d seen the great reviews, it was reassuring to hear that from someone in person on an anxious day. We soon found out how right he, and all the other reviewers, are. Zion and her family are some of the kindest, most generous, and hardest-working people that I’ve met. They have amazing nurturing instincts that come from decades of experience raising children — from the first time Zion met and interacted with our daughter, we felt assured she was in good hands. They love our daughter as though she were their own, and they treat us like family too. The kids there have lots of fun together, and these days our daughter is often reluctant to leave! Other parents we know told us about daycares they visited that felt cold and hospital-like. If you’d rather know your kids are spending their time in a warm, personal, loving familial environment, I can’t recommend Zion enough.

Zion and her family are simply wonderful. It is a difficult decision to choose a daycare for your child, but the decision to choose Zion’s was pretty easy. She came as a recommendation from a friend, and we immediately felt it was a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. Our child quickly adjusted to being in Zion’s care, and how could she not? Zion and her family treat these kids just like their own family. They are great at what they do. We are only leaving Zion’s because we are moving out of the state, and it is one of the biggest losses of the move. We would absolutely choose Zion’s childcare again and again and will miss her.

Highly recommend Zion’s daycare to anyone looking for a warm, loving environment for their kiddo to learn and play. We’ve been coming here for almost a year and our little one still smiles every time Zion opens the door to greet her in the morning! Zion and her family have years of experience and so much knowledge about how kids grow through different stages. It’s clear they take time to get to know each child really well and keep everyone appropriately engaged throughout the day, like how all the kids participate in songs and toy cleanup duty, however they are able to :) They’ve been a great fit for our family and we feel fortunate to have found them!

Zion cares for my two sons, 3-years old and 15-months. She has demonstrated a level of care, love, playfulness, and attentiveness I would only expect of a relative. In fact, Zion has effortlessly become family. Zion is beyond reliable. While I would never call her in an emergency because I love her too much to do so, I know without a shadow of a doubt that if I needed emergency care at 2 am, Zion would not only answer my call, but be a loving, kind, support... and expect nothing in return. She's gold. You can find fancier child care in Seattle, but I'm not sure you can find a more gentle, wise, patient, thoughtful, generous provider.

What else can be said about Zion's day care that has not already been said by many. She and her family are one of the most caring and loving families that I know and treats all the kids as if their own and we see them as an extended family. The first day care we took our daughter, we did not have a good experience. Luckily, we found Zion online and read so many good reviews we had to go visit. So thankful that we did, and from the first visit with Zion, we knew it was going to be a good fit and our daughter loved it from the start. We highly recommend Zion.
