We have been at Bluebird for a year and have loved our child’s experience here. The teachers have been amazing and were able to connect with our child in a special way. We loved seeing what crafts they worked on each day and how excited our child was to show us what they they did. Also the decorations that the staff do is amazing, shout-out to the artists on staff! If you want your child to have a positive, fun, safe, learning experience I highly recommend Bluebird.

As a FTM, I was super nervous about leaving my 3 month old son at daycare. However, they have made me feel comfortable and he seems to be thriving as well. He really loves his teachers Ms. Herlinda and Ms. Maritza. They also don't have cameras to watch or send pictures, but I don't mind.

My son has been going to Bluebird for a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with the facility or the staff I’ve interacted with. It is very clean, bright, and cheery, and my son always comes home with a daily report sheet and often crafts that tie in to their weekly themes (numbers, shapes, letters, etc.) He’s 18m so I imagine his teachers do most of the work for him, but I love that he’s getting exposure to that sort of thing! My husband works nearby and often sees the kids out on their daily walks and hears them singing songs! You can tell the staff takes tremendous pride in what they do and truly love the kids.

My daughter started at Tiny Tots at 10 months and transitioned to Bluebird around 2 years old. At 4.5, she's able to read very well, write and speak Spanish (counts to 100, knows alphabet) all thanks to her teachers at Bluebird. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a high quality experience for their child.

This review is for Blue Bird of Alexandria II off of Duke Street in Old Town Alexandria, VA. This is a great child care facility and I highly recommend it! I have been taking my daughter there since she was about nine months and she is now 23 months. When I had my son, he started going there when he was two months and now he is five months old. The facility is always theme-decorated (which is changed several times a year) and inviting! They have taken very good care of my kiddies and I can't thank them enough... I didn't have to worry about them while I was at work. I loved that I did not have to provide food (except for milk/formula for my infant), diapers and wipes because it was all provided!! I also liked that each of my children had a regular teacher who cared for them so they were met with familiar faces upon arrival. They will administer medication, potty train, and do anything special that your child needs. Their rates were reasonable and they give generous sibling discounts! I paid a $510 per week for both of my kids, combined. I had to leave because my work location changed. Great owners, managements and teachers. My only con is the Spanish-language barrier... there were certain people that I could fully communicate with, but if you know Spanish, you'll have no problems at all :)
